Caroline (Beth Behrs) will be meeting Bobby's (Christopher Gorham) family for the first time, but things might not go too well for several unfortunate reasons. Meanwhile, Max's (Kat Dennings) long-lost mother will soon be introduced to the show.

In the upcoming 17th episode of "2 Broke Girls," titled "And the Jessica Shmessica," Bobby will be introducing Caroline to his family for the first time, and it appears that there will be a lot of mishaps happening in this meet-the-family dinner.

The synopsis of the episode reads as follows: "When Bobby invites Caroline to a party to meet his family, she is eager to make a good impression but isn't prepared for the torch that his mother and sisters still carry for Bobby's ex-girlfriend. Also, Caroline's nerves are even more frayed when the diner gang decides to tag along."

It might be Max's inappropriate remarks or Sophie's (Jennifer Coolidge) that might turn off Bobby's family, but even without their presence, the evening would still be ruined because of the family's favor towards the ex-girlfriend. Based on the episode title, it is possible that the ex-girlfriend's name is Jessica.

Meanwhile, Max's controversial mother will soon be introduced to "2 Broke Girls," but she will not appear in the current season.

According to TVLine's Ausiello, the showrunners of "2 Broke Girls" almost introduced Max's mom this season 7. It even came to the point where they conducted casting for the said role, but the writers ended up scrapping the idea out. However, it doesn't mean that Max's mom will never be introduced.

The showrunners are planning to introduce Max's mom in "2 Broke Girls" season 8, which is something that fans can look forward to in the new season. However, details of how Max's mother will be introduced and if she will be staying, in the long run, are yet to be confirmed.
