Adam Levine wrongly accused of domestic violence
Adam Levine is a superstar in the public eye. But in the corners of his own home, he is more than just that. He is a husband and now a father. Just recently, false accusations tried to taint his reputation.
According to TMZ, the 37-year old "Moves Like Jagger" singer became the talk of the town after an anonymous tipster dialed the Los Angeles Police Department and reported that Levine abused not just his daughter but his wife as well.
The caller claimed that Levine hit his 4-week year old daughter, Dusty Rose, in the face. The caller also said that the singer struck his wife, Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, so hard that she fell to the ground. Although the tipster's claims appeared eccentric, the police still paid the Levine household a visit to investigate.
Reports said that the authorities spoke to Prinsloo first before inspecting the model for any signs of injuries or domestic abuse. Apparently, there were no indications such as bruise or marks that were seen. This led the investigators to come up with the conclusion that the allegations against the "The Voice" judge were baseless and unfounded.
The publication wrote that there will be no further investigation and the case has been closed. Sources close to Levine stated that the Maroon 5 front man is grateful that the police were able to clear his name.
Dusty Rose was born on Sept. 21 after Levine and Prinsloo got married two years ago. An E! News insider said that the couple expressed their desire to have a big family and that has been enjoying fatherhood so far.
Fans can catch more of Levin in "The Voice" season 11 every Monday and Tuesday night on NBC.
