'American Horror Story' Season 4 Episode 10 Spoilers: Sister Mary Eunice To Reappear

Fans of the "American Horror Story" is up for another frightening night as Episode 10 of Season 4, titled "Orphans," airs on Dec. 17, at 9 p.m. Central Time on FX.

Another freak will get killed, which will cause Pepper (Naomi Grossman) to act up. Desiree, on the other hand, will get suspicious of Maggie. These occurrences will lead to the arrival of Sister Mary Eunice (Lily Rabe), who was also in "Asylum" in Season 2.

Sister Eunice was a nun who worked for a mental institution named Briarcliff Asylum. Alongside Pepper, she is the second character to appear in more than one season in AHS. We remember Pepper as a patient in the asylum born with microcephaly, a condition wherein the head of the patient is smaller than normal.

However, Pepper wasn't in the asylum because of this condition—she was accused of drowning her sister's child and, to make matters worse, cutting off the baby's ears.

Ryan Murphy, co-creator of AHS, revealed the "intertwining mythologies and how things connect."

"This is the first year where we begin to tell you that Season 2 is connected to Season 4, which is connected to Season 1," Murphy explained.

Sister Eunice and Pepper's stories aren't the only ones to look forward to in the midseason finale of "American Horror Story" Season 4. The synopsis also shows that Elsa will be revealing the history behind the "freak show."
