'American Horror Story' Season 4 Finale Episode Spoilers: Sees Dandy Going On A Rampage
The finale of the fourth season of the anthological series "American Horror Story" aired last Wednesday on FX and featured Dandy (Finn Wittrock) going on a murderous rampage. However, he soon wound up getting what he deserved.
The episode was dominated by two separate plot lines. One was focused on Dandy as he took over the freak show and announced his own singing act. However, no one turned up to buy tickets for it. This infuriated Dandy and he blamed the freaks, prompting them to quit. Unable to contain his anger, Dandy murdered all the performers at the freak show with the exception of Desiree (Angela Bassett), who managed to hide from him, and Jimmy (Evan Peters), who was not present.
Dandy then took Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson) hostage and proceeded to marry them. Desiree then arrived and drugged his champagne after which she, Bette and Dot put Dandy into Houdini's water tank at the freak show. They then watched him drown as he could not escape.
Attention then switched to Elsa (Jessica Lange) who arrived in Hollywood and tried to see the head of a network. But she was not allowed entry by the receptionist. Elsa slapped the receptionist, but Michael Beck (David Burtka), the vice president of the network, kept her from getting arrested.
Viewers were then transported several years into the future where Elsa is a major TV star and married to Beck. However, she was not happy with her marriage. Massimo Dolcefino (Danny Huston) then informed her that he will die in one month. Following this, the head of the network told her that she was fired as her snuff films had been discovered. Unhappy with her life, Elsa decided to perform at the Halloween show that she did not like. During the show, she summoned Edward Mordrake (Wes Bentley) who killed her.
After her death, Elsa was still able to perform daily for a packed freak show along with Ethel (Kathy Bates) – this time in purgatory.
There is, however, a happy ending for Desiree who is revealed to have a new family while Jimmy is married to Bette and Dot, and both of them are pregnant.
