Android 7.0 Nougat for Samsung release date news update: third beta rolled out
The third Android 7.0 Nougat beta for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge had been rolled out by the South Korean tech giant a month after its first beta was launched.
The new beta reportedly brings a major update that will modify the user interface of the mobile phone manufacturer. With the new beta, the interface called the TouchWiz will be known as Samsung Experience.
According to Sam Mobile, the new Android 7.0 Nougat for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be a big one since it will require at least 530 MB of free space.
The report also claims that the latest beta will come out with the Samsung Pass, the addition of the brightness button in the device's Quick Panel, as well as the inclusion of the Samsung Note app. It will also shift the position of the "Close All" button that used to be seen at the Recent view and return it to the bottom.
The new Android 7.0 Nougat beta for Samsung's latest Galaxy 7 flagship devices also came out with the December 1 security patch as well as several stability improvements and bug fixes.
On the other hand, Android Central reveals that the beta edition of the Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system (OS) changes the flagship devices' quick settings area. This brings a lot of additional visual improvements and an expanded line of shortcuts that turns it into a complete grid layout.
The improved quick settings area also features additional shortcuts such as the blue-light filter mode that users can use for reducing eye strain, the battery-saving mode, the high-performance mode, the private mode and the Always-On Display mode.
Samsung has yet to reveal the official rollout date of the Android 7.0 Nougat OS on its flagship devices, but it is expected to be released sometime in 2017.
