'Ant-Man' Movie Trailer Release Date: Full-Length Trailer Launched January 6
Marvel has been coming out with teasers for its upcoming "Ant-Man" movie, including a visually super small teaser trailer released at the beginning of the New Year. Following this, the studio released another teaser trailer which included all the scenes from the previous "ant-sized" trailer. This time it was normal sized ensuring that people could actually see who was appearing on the screen.
Both teaser trailers soon made waves on social media and many were quick to dissect them for more information about the full-length trailer. That particular trailer is due to debut on television during the two-hour premiere of "Agent Carter" which is set to air at 8 p.m. on Jan. 6 on ABC.
More backstory for Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is seen in the latest teaser trailer. The first scene shows him being accompanied by uniformed police officers to an unspecified place. The next scene sees a fight happening in prison apparently involving Lang who has a shady past as a master thief.
As for Evangeline Lilly, who plays Hope Van Dyne, she is seen walking down a corridor while Dr. Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) back is seen as he switches on the lights in a room.
The trailer also focuses on Corey Stoll, who plays the villain Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket. He is seen walking along with a bunch of men.
While the teaser trailer seems to have shown most of the characters who will be part of the film, the full length trailer will reveal more about the plot of the film. Currently it is thought that the facility seen in the teaser trailer surrounded by water will be the spot of a major heist that Pym and his protégé Lang have targeted.
The heist was also mentioned in the synopsis of the film which notes that the duo will have to plan and pull it off to save the world.
