'Arrow' season 5 spoilers news: Colton Haynes spotted on set; Felicity to find new love in upcoming installment

A familiar face was seen on the set of "Arrow" season 5 while the latest spoilers for the upcoming installment tease that Felicity would find a new love after "Olicity" ended.

Through the mobile app Snapchat, "Arrow's" Echo Kellum shared photos of Colton Haynes while on the Vancouver set of the series (the photos, shown below, have since been posted on an official Facebook page). "Arrow" aficionados know Haynes as Roy Harper/Arsenal, a recurring character seen in much of the series' second and third seasons. The "Teen Wolf" alum left the show in 2015 and has since starred on Fox's "Scream Queens."

It has long been confirmed that Haynes would be back for season 5 as a guest star, just as he did back in season 4. According to Comicbook.com, "Arrow" season 5 is filming episode 3 titled "A Matter of Trust." Haynes wasn't in costume in the photos, so if he wasn't there to shoot for his guest appearance, the actor might have merely been visiting his former cast mates.

Meanwhile, Screen Rant reported that Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will meet a new guy in the upcoming installment of "Arrow."

It would be recalled that her wedding to Oliver (Stephen Amell) was called off after she decided she couldn't marry someone who didn't trust her enough. She stayed with Team Arrow, but her and Ollie's relationship was strained by the falling out.

At the San Diego Comic-Con, Rickards confirmed in an interview with TV Line that her character would get a new love interest in season 5.

"She steps on it pretty hot off the bat. You'll meet him quite quickly," the actress said.

"The Arrow" season 5 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. In the meantime, check out the cast interview with TV Line during the SDCC below.
