Ashley "Ash" J. Williams (Bruce Campbell) will be making his comeback in "Ash vs. Evil Dead" this Fall, and a patriotic new poster for season 2 has been released.

In the new promotional image from Starz's official Twitter account, the characters are seen saluting with the U.S. flag as their backdrop. Ash stands at the center, stepping on a Deadite's head. "The official #AshvsEvilDead Season 2 poster is here. You're welcome, America," the photo caption reads.

Season 2 picks up with an extended episode featuring Ash as he is forced to leave his comfortable life in Jacksonville to come back to his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan. There he faces The Evil Dead once more and as Elk Grove becomes more dangerous, he will form an unlikely alliance with his former enemy Ruby. "Ash vs. Evil Dead" seves as a follow-up to the classic horror film "The Evil Dead" and the upcoming season will have 10 half-hour episodes

Additionally, the plot will see Ash's reunion with his estranged father Brock Williams (Lee Majors). In a recent interview with Dread Central, Majors explained that his character will not be too pleased to see Ash because he blames him for all his misfortunes in life. Brock is the owner of the sole thriving hardware store in town but after Ash was labeled as a serial killer, nobody wanted to do business with the father of "Ashy Slashy" anymore. Brock also blames him for the death of his daughter, and he thinks that everything Ash does is crazy because he never witnessed any of it.

"The first couple of episodes are very confrontational, and then it gets a little more competitive," Majors hinted. "And I got my first indoctrination of the blood. You know, in all my shows, we weren't allowed to even show much blood; they would say, 'Oh, that's too much blood. Too much blood (laughs).' I saw more blood in this one episode in thirty minutes than I did in my career doing seven series (laughs)."

"Ash vs. Evil Dead" season two premieres Sunday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. EST on Starz.
