Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe review, specs and latest update: company promises better performance than Apple's MacBook Pro, MacBook Air

Asus has already established a certain reputation in the tech industry as the company has been successful in rolling out devices that have competitive specs. Its all-new Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe has got all the makings of a great laptop and here are the specs to prove that.

The recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 has been the gateway for Asus to boast of its Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe, which is ultimately a new version of the popular ZenBook 3. The gadget is bigger than the current model, but its design remains to be the usual.

The Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe still sports the aluminum base and lid and the only change seen is its blue-gray tone with gold edging. The screen is measured at 14-inches diagonally, but it is still contained in the 13-inch shell. According to Tech Radar, the size of Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe has made a competition with company rivals like Dell, which also has a laptop with a bigger diagonal display fitted into a small shell.

Aside from the size, the Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe has a four-way speaker system, alongside a bigger touchpad and keyboard. The publication commended the device's keys since it can penetrate 1.2 mm deep and would immediately snap back in place. However, the bigger touchpad has not been given a tremendous change in terms of function.

Asus noted that its Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe has better performance than other brands. The company proudly boasts of having a device that is 1.13 faster than the hit MacBook Pro, and 1.52 faster than the Air.

The capacity drive is also announced to have better speed at 1,720 MBps, which is 20 times faster than the typical Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) solid-state drive (SSD). It is also said to be 1.27 times faster than Apple's MacBook Air and 2.37 faster than the Pro.

With that said, Asus is on the verge of making Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe available for $1,699 beginning April 2017.
