The LG Watch Urbane is all set to open a new chapter in the world of smartwatches based on its stylish design and great specs. But it faces stiff competition from the likes of the Asus ZenWatch.
Design
Design is where the LG Watch Urbane is a showstopper as it has a great looking stainless steel body and a round watch face. Enhanced by its gold or silver polish, the device looks more like a high-end fashion accessory rather than a smartwatch. As for the Asus ZenWatch, it also has a stainless steel build, a ridge with a rose gold coloring, and a rectangular watch face. Both devices come with natural leather straps which can be replaced with any standard 22mm strap. Comparing their water and dust resistant ratings, the Asus ZenWatch has a lower IP55 rating, meaning it can only withstand occasional splashes of water, while the LG Watch Urbane has a higher IP67 rating, which means you can immerse it in water at a depth of one meter for about 30 minutes without problem.

On the Asus ZenWatch is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with a 1.2GHz CPU, 4 GB onboard storage and 512MB of RAM. As for the LG Watch Urbane it has a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset as for its memory, 4GB storage and 512MB of RAM.
Sensors
The LG Watch Urbane and the Asus ZenWatch both have a nine-axis sensor that includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, barometer and heart rate monitor.
Price
The LG Watch Urbane could cost in excess of $300 while the Asus ZenWatch could cost around $260.
