After months of speculation, Koei Tecmo finally announced that the game adaptation of the highly popular anime series "Attack on Titan" will be released in Japan early next year.

Koei Tecmo announced that "Attack on Titan: Escape from Certain Death" will be available starting on March 30, 2017. The players can also expect a lot of game bonuses and extras from the game studio, according to News Everyday.

As for the possible plotline and content of "Attack on Titan: Escape from Certain Death," Game N Guide reported that the game will have its own original story that may be independent of the big events of the manga or anime series which it was based on. The player character is expected to come from a Survey Corps team tasked to investigate the dangerous world filled with flesh-eating titans outside the protection wall.

However, there will also be popular "Attack on Titan" characters that will help the player escape from the old castle and start his adventure outside the wall.

The game itself will be released along with a Treasure Box edition containing the game itself, a visual book and the game's official soundtrack. There will also be two waterproof posters of "Attack o Titan" with six large tin badges, as well as the 3DS theme of Mikasa and Levi.

Gematsu reported that the first print copies of either Mikasa or Levi edition will still have an Eren 3DS theme with voices download code for the game.

According to News Everyday, the game developer company behind "Attack on Titan: Escape from Certain Death," Nitroplus, has focused on the game's graphics and the inclusion of spin-off characters. This is something that the fans should be looking forward to as there will be a lot of unexpected changes from the anime series' original story.

For now, there is no confirmed release date yet of "Attack on Titan: Escape From Certain Death" in countries outside Japan like the United States. However, basing on the release of the Nintendo 3DS game "Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains," the upcoming "AoT" game title may be released in the United States two months later.
