'Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains' Release Date: Titans Shown Feasting
Being eaten alive is a bad way to die, but in the game "Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains" it's all part of the scenery.
After it was announced this month that the game would come to North America on the 3DS in May, Atlus released some bloody GIFs from the game which featured humans being chomped on by Titans.
The original titled of the game in Japanese was "Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind." Some fans expressed disappointment that the title was changed to "Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains," saying that the former title was way cooler.
In "Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains," players will get to step into the shoes of the characters Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackermann and other members of the Scout Regiment. The human team will then combat the Titans to ensure the survival of humanity as a whole. In the game, players will be able to get support from local players and also online via a four-player co-operative. The game supports the new C-Stick, which comes along with the 3DS XL, and Circle Pad Pro. These will allow the players to have better control over their characters.
As for the gruesome GIFs that were released by Altus, they showed what would happen to humans when Titans caught up with them. Some were shown being eaten alive whole or being squashed like red tomatoes.
"Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains" is a game that follows in the footsteps of the "Attack on Titan" manga and anime series which over the years has become popular in Japan and throughout the world. Hajime Isayama is the brains behind the series which, as depicted in the GIFs, can be extremely violent and gruesome. It comes with an "M" rating, or for mature gamers only.
