'Attack on Titan' season 2 spoilers: New season to be most revealing yet

The first season of "Attack on Titan" established a lot of mysteries that lurk both in and out of the walls that separate humanity from the Titans. Season 2 will be a bit different.

Based on the direction of the manga by Hajime Isayama, "Attack on Titan" season 2 will provide answers to the questions presented in the first season.

The latest chapters revealed so much about the history of the Titans and humanity itself down to the Jaegers and their complicated family tree.

If "Attack on Titan" season 2 will feature the latest chapters of the manga, fans should be enlightened on the longstanding puzzles of the story.

However, fans will of course not get answers right away. The new season has a lot to cover following the events of the anime's first run.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 is believed to be beginning with epic Titan fights, as it is the nature of the first story arc it will feature, which is "Clash of the Titans."

The latest revelations by Isayama are expected to be brought into play towards the final leg of "Attack on Titan" season 2. This means that fans might meet more Titans along the way.

They will also learn what brought about their existence. As revealed in Chapter 86 of the "Attack on Titan" manga, it involved a war thousands of centuries ago between two clans, one of which Eren's family was a part of.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 has no premiere date yet. An official announcement is yet to be made by Madhouse Entertainment, although the network is believed to have given fans a heads up that it will be delayed.

It has been three years since the first season ended, but the wait for "Attack on Titan" season 2 should be over soon if the rumored spring 2017 premiere is accurate.
