With how the "Attack on Titan" manga is progressing with reveal after reveal, fans are getting more hyped for season 2 of the anime, which is rumored to premiere in April next year.

Wit Studio is yet to announce a premiere date but they said the anime is getting a spring launch date. Speculations have it that it will likely be in April.

Based on Japan's network programming, which follows four release cycles running three months. Each cycle begins January, April, July and October.

It is said that if "Attack on Titan" season 2 will premiere in January, it should have been announced by now. This makes April the likely date.

The development of the "Attack on Titan" manga has many fans excited about the anime as well. There have been a lot of revelations no humankind, the origin of the Titans and the world.

It is unknown if they will be touched on in "Attack on Titan" season 2 as there are still lots of chapters to cover before the anime gets to that part.

Fans will first have to see the Survey Corps bravely take on the Titans, which leads to casualties and injuries. Among the ones in danger are Erwin, Armin, Historia and Eren.

Speaking of Eren, his family has been the subject of the recent manga chapters as the story of the Titans and the war from thousands of years ago is told from his father, Grisha's perspective.

This will all lead to tons of revelations and shocks although "Attack on Titan" season 2 will not feature them yet if it follows the same storytelling pace as the first season, which covered all 36 chapters of the first four arcs.

The next two arcs already make up another 36 chapters so if Wit Studio sticks with this pace, the Grisha revelations may not come until the third season.
