'Avengers: Infinity War' release date, news, spoilers: Hulk to reappear with a new ally
Another hero-to-hero battle will happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, only this time it will be in the "Avengers: Infinity War" movie. Meanwhile, the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will be returning to the Avengers with a new ally.
Although its release date is still two years away, there is a lot of excitement towards the debut of "Avengers: Infinity War" that is expected to bring together the majority, if not all, of Marvel superheroes in one film.
Directed by the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, "Avengers: Infinity War" will revolve around the Avengers, the infinity stones, and the antagonist Thanos (Josh Brolin), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In an interview with Screen Junkie News, Vin Diesel shared that there will be a Groot and Hulk battle. But the reason for their quarrel and the need to fight against each other was not revealed.
Meanwhile, Citizen Oracle confirmed that the Hulk will finally reappear in the "Avengers: Infinity War" movie. When the Hulk returns, he will have a new friend by his side.
The director of "Thor: Ragnarok," Taiko Waititi, shared during a Facebook Live video that a character from his movie will cross paths with the Hulk in "Infinity War." This character is Miek, an insectoid from the planet of Sakaar.
Speculations point out that the Hulk will be forced into exile, where he will find himself on the planet of Sakaar, and there, he will form a friendship with Miek. The two will work together to fight the Illuminati, which is the group that reportedly pushed the Hulk into exile from Earth.
In other news, a spin-off starring Groot and Rocket (Fumihiro Okabayashi) might be happening. Diesel shared that it is highly possible and that it just depends on the director of "Guardians of the Galaxy," James Gunn.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is expected to premiere on May 4, 2018.
