"Bates Motel" is ending on its fifth and final season, but there is still a lot to look forward to, especially with Norma's (Vera Farmiga) dead body exhumed by Norman (Freddi Highmore) sitting in the house with him.

In season 4 of "Bates Motel," Norman planned a murder-suicide for him and his mother, Norma, through carbon monoxide suffocation so that they could spend eternity together. Sheriff Alex (Nestor Carbonell) found them in the house unconscious and tried to save them by bringing them out. But unfortunately, Norma had already died, leaving Norman alone.

In the season finale, Norman brought home Norma's body, exhumed it, and kept her in the house as if she didn't die. No one knows what Norman did, except for Chick (Ryan Hurst) who accidentally caught him with Norma's body in the living room.

In the show's fifth and final season, fans are expecting to get a finale that will pay tribute to and exceed the original film that it is based on, "Psycho."

Showrunner Carlton Cuse previously shared with TV Line that they will be including the infamous character of Marion Crane in the final season, which will be played by singer-actress Rihanna.

Cuse added that Marion Crane will appear in several episodes in season 5, and that her appearance will allow them to do their own version of "Psycho." But they are making sure that they are not just recreating the classic murder film.

Meanwhile, it is anticipated that someone else will discover the body of Norma in the house with Norman, according to Movie Pilot.

Since White Pine Bay is a small town, almost everyone will be coming to offer their condolences to Norman. Aside from this, Norman's brother, Dylan (Max Thieriot), still doesn't know that Norma is dead. It is expected that Dylan will hurry back to the house as soon as he finds out Norma's dead and that he might find her body there.

It is also anticipated that Norman will have a new victim. He has killed many all throughout the series, including his father, Sam Bates (David Cubitt), Bradley Martin (Nicola Peltz), Audrey Ellis (Karina Logue), and his mother.

There are speculations that Sheriff Alex will be his next victim.

"Bates Motel" season 5 is expected to debut in March 2017 on A&E.
