'Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice' Release Date, News: Movie Split Into 2 Parts?

FACEBOOK

Fans of Batman and Superman are all very excited for the upcoming release of "Batman Vs. Superman: The Dawn of Justice."

However, rumors have come out that the movie will be split into two parts, with Part 1 titled "Enter the Knight" showing on Oct. 23, 2015 and Part 2 titled "Dawn of Justice" to be released on March 25, 2016.

With no DC Comics movie slated for release this year, the production team may actually be considering this plan. Adding to the uncertainty was a recent statement from Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, denying the two-part movie rumor.

Although it has become "standard" for fiction movie franchises to separate instalments into several parts, such as "Harry Potter," "Twilight," "The Hobbit," "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hunger Games," it doesn't seem necessary for this film. In fact, some fans think that the idea is "terrible."

There is no official word from Warner Bros or DC Comics just yet so we have to take Cavill's word for it for now. If you think that a two-part film is highly possible, then stay tuned for more spoilers because there's still a long way to go before the release and the movie is still in development.

Meanwhile, when asked if he thinks that the "Dawn of Justice" will be better than "The Avengers," Cavill replied, "You'll see." He also thinks that Ben Affleck makes a great Batman.

If you were wondering whether Cavill sustained any injuries at all while playing his part, he only has this to say: "Are you kidding? I'm the Man of Steel."
