'Battle Of The Exes 2' Recap, Latest News: 2 Contestants Prove Even Exes Can Communicate In Rope Challenge

Nothing can be more awkward than being around your ex and being forced to live in one house, or worse, being filmed for TV. This is truly challenging, and it was exactly what the contestants in the "Battle of the Exes" Season 3 had to go through when the show went back on air last Jan. 6.

Before delving into the facts, we cannot skip the part of Diem and Knight, both contestants of the show, who passed away late last year. We remember Diem saying that she wanted to win to start her own family. Knight passed away a week after Diem did. The production team has dedicated this whole season for the two of them.

Going back, the female team members had to walk across a rope hung between two skyscrapers 500 feet above the ground. The male members hung upside down to feed the rope. The challenge boils down to communication—something that may not have worked well for many of them.

Dustin and Jessica went first, followed by Averey and Johnny. Jessica fell, but Johnny and Averey were able to prove that even exes can communicate. Other teams who were able to complete the challenge were Wes and Theresa, and Hailey and Thomas.

Wes planned to go after Johnny and Nany instead of going after a rookie. It was a smart move, but also a risky one. However, Wes ended up choosing Jess and Dustin.

The rookies had to go up a wall attached to wooden panels. The couples were all under pressure but everything turned surprisingly fine for Brittany and Adam, while Jessica and Dustin were able to fix their friendship before the challenge but didn't make it anyway. In the end, the "Are You the One" exes won.
