'Battlefield 1' DLC release date news: Bleed Out mode comes on Jan. 18; 'They Shall Not Pass' DLC to follow
Players of "Battlefield 1" will soon get a fresh revamp of the old gameplay with the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) that will be released earlier than the February update. DICE made several hints about the significant changes, especially in the game's multiplayer mode.
"Battlefield 1" has made a mark in the gaming industry due to its multiplayer mode. In fact, it has been reported that the title has beaten "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" since the latter has received negative reviews from the gamers. The selling point of "Battlefield 1" is its multiplayer platform, and DICE made a brilliant decision to bank on it to maintain the popularity of the game.
On Jan. 18, DICE will be rolling out the "Battlefield 1" Bleed Out mode before the anticipated February update. Game Rant reported that the new game mode is the revamped version of the hit title, "Rush."
Players may appreciate the new game mode as they are able to spawn faster when they die. The only thing they need to realize is that their health regeneration will remain inactive. This may mean that all players will have their own death record for every round.
Other features of the Bleed Out mode include the Line of Sight, in which players would get to choose to play Medics or Scouts. It does not allow all vehicles to use and so players only have to rely on their shotguns to survive the mode.
Following Bleed Out, DICE is set to release the "They Shall Not Pass" DLC in February. Several snapshots have already been shared by the developer, including four new maps that would be available in March. The expansion will allow players to demonstrate their skills to fellow players.
"Battlefield 1: The Shall Not Pass" is the first-ever paid expansion of the title, but those who have the Premium Pass will receive the DLC for free.
