Best Wireless Chargers for Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge: Price Starts At $14
The Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge, the latest flagship smartphones from Samsung, come with two wireless charging standards PMA and Qi.
This means that users who buy the phones can quickly charge them by using a wireless charging pad of their own or just place it on a charging pad in restaurants such as Starbucks and MacDonald's.
Best Buy is offering a free wireless charger worth $59.99 when people buy the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge from its stores.
However, there are several other wireless charges available in the market priced from $14 upwards.
A mini wireless charger from Samsung is priced at $42.35 and designed specifically for devices manufactured by the company. It has a warranty period of one year. One of its features is a LED indicator which alerts users if the device is incorrectly placed on the pad for charging.
One of the cheapest wireless chargers available in the market is the DigiYes USB Powerqi wireless charger which is priced at $14. Based on the Qi standard, it has an indicator light that shows when the battery is charged fully and prevents overcharging as well.
The CHOETECH Qi Wireless Charging Pad is another cheap option. It's available online at a steep discount and currently costs around $22. However, it does not work when phones are covered in cases that are over 5mm thick.
Another great option is the RAVPower Wireless Charging Pad which is also available on Amazon at a discount and is priced between $24.99 and $39.99 depending on the vendor. This device looks good, is pretty slim compared to other charging pads and goes into "idle" mode once the phone is fully charged.
The PowerBot PB1027 is another great option if you want a colorful charger based on the Qi standard. It is also inexpensive and can be bought on Amazon for $14. This neat little charger emits a beep once the device is positioned correctly and can be attached to a computer or TV via its USB port.
