The show has released a teaser that revealed the premiere date of "Better Call Saul" season 3. Meanwhile, Giancarlo Esposito has been confirmed to reprise his role of Gus Fring when season 3 premieres.

"Better Call Saul," with its upcoming third season, is a spin-off prequel TV crime drama series of "Breaking Bad" created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. The series follows the story of James Morgan, played by Bob Odenkirk, a lawyer and former scam artist who does everything and anything to stay out of the courtroom.

AMC released a teaser for season 3 titled "Crisis Averted," wherein Jimmy has an awkward moment and a slightly tense discussion with Kim (Rhea Seehorn).

Jimmy then opens up about how he misses not being hated by his brother Chuck (Michael McKean), with whom he has an ongoing feud with. But according to Slashfilm, things are about to get more chaotic between Jimmy and Chuck when the latter plays a revenge card using the taped confession.

Meanwhile, AMC confirmed at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that Esposito will be reprising his role as drug kingpin Gus Fring in the upcoming third season of "Better Call Saul."

Deadline reports that Esposito is very eager to return to his Gus Fring character and that he is honored to be asked to reprise his role.

"I'm excited to be back. Gus is a cagey character. I'm going back to the original stage direction that was really inspiring to me, which was 'Hiding in plain sight.' You're not who you think you are. Sometimes you have different agendas and go about achieving things in different ways," Esposito explained.

Esposito said that Gus is more immature than his time in "Breaking Bad" and that he is still on his way to building himself up in the drug cartel scene.

Esposito added that Gus will be looking for revenge, but he will also be "very carrying about his family of business people. I'm looking forward to where we go with it."

"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres on Monday, April 10, at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
