Bryan Cranston, who played the iconic "Breaking Bad" character Walter White, is yet to confirm his highly-anticipated appearance on "Better Call Saul" season 3. However, he did reveal that he could be back as a director.

During his appearance at "The Rich Eisen Show," he said that he was offered to helm an episode of "Better Call Saul" season 3, but he has yet to decide whether he will do it or not.

"I have an opportunity to direct an episode of 'Saul' and I'm debating whether I want to or not because I'm a fan of the show, and in order to direct I need to know what no fan knows," he told host Rich Eisen.

He added that if he were to accept the directing gig, it would "kill it for me as a fan to peek behind the curtain." However, Cranston feels the complete opposite about reprising his role in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

If asked to slip into his role as Walter White, "Yes, you don't even have to finish the pitch. I'm there, what do you want me to do?" the actor said.

Although it is yet to be the time for Heisenberg to show up at the "Breaking Bad" spinoff, fans can look forward to the pleasure of once again seeing the drug kingpin slash restaurateur Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

Although he won't immediately pop up in the screen (as "Breaking Bad" fans know, it is difficult to get to the guy), his return was teased in the previous season and the first letter of the title of the episodes even spelled out his name.

It is unknown how involved Gus Fring will be in "Better Call Saul" season 3, but it will not be instant, that's for sure.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres sometime next year on AMC.
