'Blindspot' season 2 update, spoilers: Weller gets captured; Zapata reunites with ex-boyfriend
Fans of crime drama series "Blindspot" will have to wait for next week to catch season 2 episode 8 because NBC temporarily benched it to pave way for the World Series.
According to reports, fans can expect more drama and tension in the next episode. Series creator and executive producer Martin Gero announced via Twitter that "Do Not Slack, the Featherweight Wins" will be an "awesome" episode that every fan should watch out for.
Spoilers reveal that in episode 8, Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) will go missing at the beginning. Their team will spend time searching for them. Fortunately for Jane, she will find her way out of trouble. Kurt, on the other hand, will be stuck with his captor who is not identified yet at this point but spoilers say that it's a man who intends to kill him.
Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) will be leading the team to search for Kurt but before they go on their mission, Jane will beg Nas to let her and Patterson (Ashley Johnson), Reade (Rob Brown) and Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) to be part of the search and rescue. Nas will refuse to let them at first but Jane will convince her, telling her that she is willing to go through anything for Kurt because they are family. She will tell Nas that they should always be looking out for each other.
Nas will eventually agree to let Kurt's team be involved in the search. Spoilers also say that before Kurt goes missing, he will be spotted throwing a party for his ex, Allison Knight (Trieste Kelly Dunn). Allison almost got killed after getting shot during a mission with Jane. Fortunately, she survived and it seems like the team is celebrating another life for Allison. However, Jane may be absent in the celebration.
It's also said that Zapata will be reuniting with her ex-boyfriend, assistant U.S. attorney Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams). Will they be reigniting thei love?
"Blindspot" season 2 episode 8 will air on NBC on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m. EDT.
