Bobbi Kristina Brown Condition Latest News: Whitney Houston Daughter Moved to Atlanta Rehab Center
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 21-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Atlanta, Georgia, according to a report.
Citing a source close to the family, NBC News said on Friday that Brown was moved to the new facility from the Emory University Hospital where she spent two months following her bathtub accident last Jan. 31.
Brown was found unresponsive and face-down in a bathtub in her Georgia home and was rushed to the hospital.
The transfer did not mean that Brown's condition has improved, according to a TMZ report.
It said doctors at Emory Hospital attempted to remove the life support to see if she would respond. "She did not ...and we're told doctors say she's in the same non-responsive state she's been in for weeks," TMZ said.
It said her father and Pat Houston helped in carrying her belongings to the rehabilitation facility.
Brown's breathing tube was moved from her throat to her neck sometime ago, the report said.
When she was rushed to the hospital, she was put in a medically-induced coma.
Police are still investigating the incident.
Last month, Bobby Brown prohibited Nick Gordon, his daughter's partner, from visiting her until he explained what really happened last Jan. 31. "Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina," said Christopher Brown, one of Bobby Brown's attorneys, in a statement sent to E!
Gordon's lawyers said he has made statements to the police and that "Mr. Brown is not law enforcement."
Gordon, Brown's lawyer said, was given the chance to visit Bobbi Kristina but "he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit," NBC News said.
