'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' chapter 4 spoilers news 2016: Boruto's cheating may put himself and Naruto in trouble
The fourth chapter of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" showed the continuation of the ongoing Chuunin exam in Leaf Village. Boruto's group, Team Konohamaru, was able to survive the challenges and advance to the next stage of the examination. However, Boruto has a secret technique, or rather a cheat, that appears to have helped him accomplish the previous stages of the Chuunin exam. Boruto's technique is likely to jeopardize his own status in the examination.
The eldest son of Naruto used the forbidden Kote technique designed by Konaha's scientists. It allows its user to access different kinds of ninja techniques without requiring any amount of chakra. As recapped by Movie News Guide, the young shinobi seemed to enjoy using the Kote technique and advanced to the next phase of the Chuunin screening. Naruto already expressed his disapproval to have such a device in the modern shinobi world. For Boruto's father, the use of this technique only urges the younger ninjas to forget what the real essence of being a shinobi is.
At one point, Boruto used the Shadow Clone Technique he learned from Sasuke to defend their team's flag and reserve their spot in the next stage of the Chuunin exams. His opponent, however, was able to outsmart him and used more shadow clones to steal Boruto's flag. This pushed Boruto to use the Kote technique and cheat to produce a powerful water element jutsu.
Naruto may have already noticed something different with the way Boruto advanced to the next stage of the examination, and if the seventh Hokage ever finds out about his son's secret, both will be in big trouble.
On the other hand, The Bitbag reported about the mysterious scrolls found by Sasuke in the previous chapter. He showed the scrolls to Naruto, stating that another problem in the shinobi world may arise soon. It is expected that the next chapter will expound more on the origin of the scrolls and if these items are related to the powerful Otsutsuki clan, where the "Naruto" villainess Kaguya came from.
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapters are updated every month. There is no exact date yet regarding the release of the fifth chapter this August.
