Since news broke out that Prince Harry is dating American actress Meghan Markle, interest in the young British royal has perked up. Recently, tracking on him has also amplified which is why latest reports claim that he snuck in Canada earlier in the week to spend time with his new girlfriend.

Flying Toronto after finishing a multicountry official tour in Guyana on Sunday, the 32-year-old is confirmed to be in Toronto where Markle is right now, E! News reports. A source for the news outlet shares that the two want to spend more quality time together without the risk of being followed by paparazzi. However, the side trip is only tipped to be a short one given that Harry needs to be back in the United Kingdom by Wednesday.

Given that, it is currently unknown whether Prince Charles and Princess Diana's youngest have already boarded a flight across the pond or not.

"Harry has been traveling and wanted to make time to see Meghan," the tipster added. "They wanted their time together to be private."

Markle who is mostly in Toronto to film her recurring role as Rachel Zane in USA Network's legal drama "Suits," has also recently traveled to California where she was born and raised. Just last month, the 35-year-old was spotted in London where she was presumably visiting Harry.

A separate source, who is said to be a friend, tips The Sun about Harry's eagerness to see Meghan saying, "Harry just couldn't wait to see her. He was due to fly back to London on a British Airways flight with the rest of his entourage ... But he changed his mind and diverted straight to see her as they couldn't bear to be apart. It's just another sign of how head-over-heels he is about her. He is absolutely besotted. We've never seen him so happy — it's great."

With the Christmas slowly approaching, it will be interesting to see how the new couple will spend the holidays. British Royal expert Katie Nicholl spoke to Entertainment Tonight Online and shared that based on traditions, chances are that Markle will not be coming over to London to spend the upcoming festivities together with the prince.
