'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' DLC release date news update: 'Descent' to arrive on July 12 for PlayStation 4
The third expansion pack for the popular video game "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" has yet to be released; however, many fans expect it to come out next month.
Although game publisher Activision has yet to provide concrete details with regard to its release date, fans and video game observers have already made their predictions. With the scheduled release of the next "Call of Duty" game, the "Infinite Warfare," in November of this year, fans already assume that the company will roll out the rest of the DLC updates for "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" before the new title arrives.
According to a report by Gotta Be Mobile, the third DLC of the current title of the first-person shooter video game will come out in July. It was previously reported that the upcoming DLC will arrive on June 21; however, the company decided to release the Update 1.12 instead of the expansion. Activision believes that it was necessary to release the 1.12 Update first before the third DLC to take care of some game security issues.
Activision has been so silent about providing solid details about the upcoming expansion; however, the official website of the game revealed that "Gorod Krovi" is now available along with the new expansion. According to the website, the latest Zombies experience episode takes place in the historic city of Stalingrad in Russia. It will certainly surprise many players as the game will allow them to experience a war that involves robots and dragons.
The upcoming DLC will also bring along four new maps for the multiplayer mode. The maps are called Cryogen, Berserk and Rumble and Empire, which is considered as the Raid map.
The upcoming DLC is called "Descent." It will be released on July 12 for PlayStation 4. According to reports, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" expansion will soon be available for PC and Xbox One platforms in August.
