The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the most anticipated teams in the coming years because of the combination of their youth and talent.

At the moment, they are still struggling with a 3-6 record, but Wolves fans are eager to see how things will unfold in the coming seasons.

However, with all the excitement about what the Wolves may do in the future, there are talks linking them to a big move that could very much alter how they will play in the coming campaigns.

Rumor has it that the Timberwolves are trying to make a trade with the Chicago Bulls and they are apparently luring Jimmy Butler to spearhead the young upstart franchise. In return, the Wolves are supposedly ready to give up Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine to get Butler.

While many might question the amount of talent the Wolves are ready to give up, it is also understandable that Minnesota want Butler.

In his career, Butler has shown his strengths both on the offensive and defensive end. He averages 13.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. In the 2016-17 season, he stepped up with 24.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in 10 matches so far.

This has resulted in a 6-4 record as the Bulls try to chase the Cleveland Cavaliers.

As for the Bulls, this move may result in a better run in the future as they will be getting stars who can probably carry the team in the next five to 10 years with LaVine and Wiggins.

Wiggins is in his third season so far and has been stellar, averaging 19 points per game. In the first eight games so far, Wiggins averages 23.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Meanwhile, LaVine has also improved dramatically as he averages 19.8 points per game this season, as compared to 12.5 in his short career.

These are all speculations but it would be interesting to see what would happen if the two teams made the trade.
