Louie's father complicates Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson's (Monica Raymund) family plans on the upcoming episode of NBC's firehouse drama "Chicago Fire" season 5.

Titled "The People We Meet," next week's episode will see the responders deal with issues in their personal lives. According to the official synopsis, Severide (Taylor Kinney) agrees to do a bone marrow donation for Anna (Charlotte Sullivan), but it might not happen after he finds himself in a work accident. Casey and Dawson try to find some harmony at home, while Otis (Yuri Sardarov) and Mouch (Christian Stolte) team up to film a public service announcement, which encourages people to join the Chicago Fire Department. In the process of making the video, the two responders hit a creative wall.

Spoiler reports note that the fight for Louie will continue after his father resurfaces. It turns out that Andre (Charles Brice) missed his first meeting with his biological son, so he comes back to mess things up for Dawson and Casey.

NBC recently released a new promo for the upcoming episode, and it shows Louie's father declaring that he wants to be with his son. In an effort to be Louie's official guardian, Andre decides to take the matter regarding his son's custody to court. Things are not looking good for Dawson and Casey as the adoption attorney mentioned that the biological parents have a high chance of winning the case. It remains to be seen how Firehouse 51's newlyweds will deal with their first major challenge as parents.

As for Severide's bone marrow donation, executive producer Derek Haas teased that Anna and Severide will have more scenes in the next few episodes. Her health will slightly improve, giving Severide a chance to donate. Unfortunately, there are complications that could bring "some serious pain" on Severide's part.

The fifth season of "Chicago Fire" airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
