'Chicago Fire' season 5 episode 8 spoilers: Casey and Dawson apply for permanent adoption of Louie; Otis convinces Hermann to celebrate Molly's 100th anniversary
Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) apply for permanent adoption of Louie in the upcoming episode of NBC's hit drama "Chicago Fire" season 5.
Titled "One Hundred," the show's 8th episode will highlight Casey and Dawson's efforts as they try to officially become a family unit. According to the official synopsis, Lt. Casey and Dawson are one step closer to being a complete family unit with their child Louie. However, as they apply for permanent adoption, the couple immediately discover a huge hurdle that could affect their future plans.
Meanwhile, firefighter-turned-medical student Jeff Clarke (guests star Jeff Hephner) meets up with Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney) and offers him an interesting proposition. In an effort to reinvigorate business at the bar, Otis (Yuri Sardarov) tries to convince a skeptical Herrmann (David Eigenberg) to organize a big party in celebration of Molly's milestone 100th anniversary. However, they will be facing unexpected complications.
Meanwhile, a new promo clip for next week's episode was recently released by NBC. In the latest sneak peek for "Lift Each Other," it appears that things are heating up between Brett (Kara Killmer) and Antonio (guest star Jon Seda). After Brett finally made a move on Antonio and showed her true feelings for him in the latest episode, the blossoming couple seem to be moving full speed ahead.
The clip shows Brett and Antonio having a double date with Antonio's sister, Dawson, and Casey—who can't keep their hands off each other. The PDA-filled dinner takes a different turn when Dawson brings up that their whole family is visiting town. She invites Brett to a big Dawson family reunion, which makes the conversation a bit awkward for Brett.
The fifth season of "Chicago Fire" airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
