One of the new characters that will be introduced in the title is Domino, and Kerry Washington is on top of the list of actors testing for the role. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) will return for the sequel.

"Deadpool 2" is slated to premiere in 2018, and it will introduce new characters such as Domino and Cable, Movie Pilot confirmed. There are speculations that Pierce Brosnan will be playing the role of Cable. The theory came about due to a photo surfacing which showed Ryan Reynolds having a good laugh with Brosnan and Hugh Jackman.

On the other hand, there are a lot of actresses lined up to take on the role of Domino. However, according to "That Hashtag Show," the "Scandal" star who plays Olivia Pope is on top of that list.

Washington already plays the badass Olivia Pope, but aside from that, she's already taken superhero roles, particularly in 2005 as Alicia Masters in "Fantastic Four" and in its 2007 sequel, "Rise of the Silver Surfer." Although, it has not been confirmed yet if Washington will be the one to play the female mercenary.

Meanwhile, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus will be returning in "Deadpool 2." However, details of their return and how their presence will play out in the story are still being kept under wraps.

Paul Wernick shared in an interview with Collider that the two X-men heroes will make "at least an appearance," but that's as far as the writers went into details.

The subtitle of "Deadpool 2" has not yet been announced, but two sources — My Entertainment World and Omega Underground — report that the working title is "Love Machine." This title seems to be fitting with the personality of Deadpool as the Merc with a Mouth appears to be a soldier of love.

"Deadpool 2" is anticipated to hit theaters on March 2, 2018.
