Denver Broncos roster news: Trevor Siemian seems like the long-term answer

After winning the Super Bowl last year, many expected the Denver Broncos to slightly dip as Peyton Manning announced his retirement.

The team still had one of the best defenses in the game, but without a reliable quarterback, many feared that they would not get the points they eventually need to win the game.

However, questions were immediately answered as Trevor Siemian appears to seamlessly fill in the void.

He is certainly not in the level of Manning, but Siemian is definitely fitting in nicely.

Various reports are trying to piece together what Siemian has done to help the Broncos stay unbeaten after the first three weeks of the season.

Many expected the Carolina Panthers to get some revenge in their first meeting, but the Broncos, with help from Siemian, did enough to win.

Now, at 3–0, they lead the AFC West and are looking very dangerous.

Many see a sense of confidence and a calm demeanor on Siemian that most young quarterbacks do not have.

Some may make wrong decisions and try to immediately make an impact, while Siemian has been in the pocket and picked his spots perfectly, which gives the Broncos the perfect time to adjust and react accordingly.

In fact, Siemian has received high praises for his early accomplishments, with Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib speaking highly of his quarterback, saying: "When the game starts, that's when you see how the young QBs show up. They throw some throws they don't necessarily want to throw. You just don't see that from Trev. He's the same, exact guy from practice in a game. That tells me he's ahead of the game."

Now, many believe that Siemian is the team's future and thanks to his early accomplishments, it is pretty difficult to vote against it.

In their next test, Siemian will go up against the top quarterback in his draft class, Jameis Winston. However, it appears that the limelight is on Siemian and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their hands full against the Broncos.
