'Destiny: Rise of Iron' The Dawning event 2016 updates dropped by Bunjie
Details about the upcoming The Dawning event of "Destiny: Rise of Iron" downloadable content (DLC) have been released.
In the latest community update posted by DeeJ at the Bunjie website, the trailer for the upcoming event has been posted. It showed that the "Destiny" universe will turn into a winter wonderland.
The Dawning event will also reportedly bring back the Sparrow Racing League into the game under Amanda Holliday's direction. The Sparrow Racing will remain even after the event ends, but it can only be accessed through private matches.
The event announcement also revealed that Commander Zavala will conduct several scored Strike events. According to DeeJ, "Some of those scored Strikes have been redesigned to feature SIVA infestations. This event will bestow upon you many gifts."
The upcoming The Dawning event will also come with several updates and improvements for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC. Some of these include the adjusted Skeleton Keys drop rates, which were increased slightly in the SIVA Crisis Heroic playlist, the SIVA Crisis playlist, as well as in the weekly Nightfall. Players are also expected to get a Skeleton Key after clearing their first Nightfall account per week.
The upcoming update will also solve the issue in which some of the players could not have the Student of History Trophy/Achievement or the Sigil of the Young Wolf Emblem for gathering all the Rise of Iron Artifacts. Also, all characters who managed to reach level 40 will reportedly convert their Uncommon Engrams to Weapon and Armor Materials automatically on pickup.
The community manager also revealed that there will be a lot of gifts coming through the next "Destiny" update. "There are new gear sets, new Exotics Weapons, and an old favorite to help you break the winter ice. Those are just a few of the new seasonal updates you'll find in the Tower."
The "Destiny: Rise of Iron" DLC The Dawning event is slated to be on Tuesday, Dec. 13. It will last until Jan. 3, 2017.
