There are a lot of new features introduced in the latest major DLC expansion for Activision's hit first-person shooter game, "Destiny." The fourth DLC introduced a new story arc for the game, plus a wider range of quests and weapons for the players to enjoy. One of the interesting additions in "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is the Khvostov Exotic Weapon.

To note, the players will get an original Khvostov weapon at the beginning of their "Destiny" game adventure. Because of its special functions and abilities, some players opt to keep their Khvostov weapon even if they already have much-advanced shooters. However, upon the arrival of "Destiny: Rise of Iron," the original Khvostov weapon can now be upgraded and transformed into something unique and powerful.

According to Game N Guide, the players can complete a side mission that will require them to dismantle their original Khvostov weapon. Afterward, they will have the schematic for the exotic Khvostov 7G-0X weapon. This should be taken to Shiro-4 in the Felwinter Peak social space, from where they will unlock the "We Found A Rifle" quest.

After accepting the mission, there will be a list of requirements given to the players. VG 24/7 noted that the players need to locate all three parts of the Khvostov exotic weapon in different locations. Aside from the spare parts of the Khvostov 7G-0X weapon, the players have to obtain the manual for building the weapon. The manual is composed of 10 pages, all of which will be obtained after killing Splicers. They will travel to the Plaguelands to hunt for these Splicers. Once killed, they will drop the manual page as a glowing collectible so it will be easier for the players to spot them in the field.

If the player no longer has the original Khvostov weapon, he can go on a long and difficult route by killing a Hive Brood Mother in the Plaguelands, according to iDigital Times. Take the Splicer Intel Relay dropped by the Brood Mother to the old Cosmodrome area. The Intel Relay can be used to unlock the laser grid in the stairs and reach the Fallen Ketch. From there, locate the chest containing the Khvostov 7G-0X schematic, but be wary of the monsters surrounding it. Similar to the usual process, bring the schematic to Shiro-4 in the Felwinter social space to unlock the "We Found A Rifle" quest.

The easiest in this case is for the player to create a new character to obtain the original Khvostov weapon without having to face more monsters. However, the player cannot have the Intel Relay reward.
