'Destiny' Weapons, Gear Updates: How to Find Xur and His Exotic Gear, Weapons and Upgrades On Sale

Gamers who play "Destiny" every week are going to get another bag of exotic gear this week. As usual, Xur sells these exotic pieces of weapons and armor in the social hub of the game and gamers can use Strange Coins to purchase them.

Those who want the gear and weapons on offer this week will have to complete the Heroic Strikes that are available each week.

As for Xur, the Agent of the Nine, he is going to hang around the lounge in the Tower from Friday at 4 a.m. ET until Sunday at 4 a.m. ET. If players do not have enough Strange Coins to purchase the items being offered by the merchant, then can try to finish a strike when playing at level 30 and get nine coins.

With enough of coins in hand, gamers still need to locate Xur. To do find him, gamers need to walk along a corridor once they are in the Tower. Then when they get into the hangar they need to follow the flight of steps that are leading downwards. In the lower level, they need to turn right and get to the back of the room where there is a bar and then take the stairs leading up, until they find Xur.

Polygon said among the best weapons on offer this week is the hand cannon named "The Last Word," which comes with a firing animation that is customized. This weapon can be got for 23 coins. It is head and shoulders above the rest as it provides the ability to fire from hip level. It even has two upgrades, one increases accuracy while the other inflicts large damage even when your aim is not great. In addition to this, the gun has tons of style and you can twirl it with your finger when you switch to it from another weapon.

Other weapons available this week from Xur include Helm of Inmost Light, which is a Titan-class Helmet; Radiant Dance Machines, which are boots that fit in the Warlock class, and finally Voidfang Vestments.
