'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' DLC release date, latest news: 'A Criminal Past' DLC to launch this February

Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have recently announced that the second story DLC pack for the video game "Deux Ex: Mankind Divided" is set to launch next month.

According to the announcement published on the game's official website, Adam Jensen will be appearing in "A Criminal Past," the second story DLC for the latest "Deus Ex" installment. In this story DLC, Adam will be reunited with an old acquaintance in Delara Auzenne, and he will also be introduced to new characters.

The upcoming story DLC will give more insight into the lore of the "Deus Ex" universe. Players will get to experience one of Adam's first missions for TF29, which took place before the events of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided."

In "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – A Criminal Past," Adam will be planted into a hostile, high-security detainment facility for augmented felons. His main objective is to track down a fellow undercover agent who has gone dark and to retrieve sensitive information that could help in the war against terror all over the world. To succeed, Jensen must confront the darker side of his role before the day ends.

Aside from the upcoming DLC release this February, two new "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" content have recently been made available on Steam. The first is "Deus Ex: Breach," a standalone version of the Breach mode version of the game. "Breach" tasks gamers to infiltrate simulated environments in order to gather data, which will be sold to the highest bidder.

The "Mankind Divided" VR Experience has also been released, which allows a gamer to explore four of the game's environments using an Oculus Rift or Vive VR headset.

"A Criminal Past" story DLC of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will be made available on Feb. 3 on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and other online stores. The second story DLC will also be included in the game's Season Pass, which contains Narrative DLCs and in-game items.
