'Diablo 4' release date news 2016: Blizzard not interested in another 'Diablo' title?
When the last installment of the popular action role-playing video game, "Diablo" was released in 2012, fans have immediately started to speculate for another title to come out. According to the latest reports, the upcoming "Diablo 4" could be the highlight of BlizzCon 2016. However, rumor has it that Blizzard has a different plan.
The fourth installment of "Diablo" has yet to be confirmed by the game developer Blizzard. There are speculations suggesting that a fourth title is far way of an option for the company right now as they are more interested in doing a remake of "Diablo 2."
In a report by Movie News Guide, Blizzard has recently posted a job listing for different positions in the company to help them with their new "unannounced project." There are rumors suggesting that the upcoming project may have something to do with the development of a new "Diablo" game. The various positions the company needs include a new animator, senior concept artist, senior animator, VFX artist, senior concept artist and senior character artist.
As expected, Blizzard has remained mum about the whole "Diablo 4" rumors. However, fans believe that the critical and commercial success of "Diablo 3" will lead the game developer to develop a new installment. As to when that is going to happen, nobody really knows until Blizzard makes an official announcement.
Meanwhile, a new report has surfaced saying that the company's top tech designers have resigned scrapping the possibility of another "Diablo" title anytime soon. The departure of several tech designers is being considered as the reason why Blizzard is currently looking for a few new employees to fill in the void.
The director of "Diablo 3," Jay Wilson has already been reported to have left the company. The reason for his departure is said to be due to his desire to pursue his true passion, which was not mentioned in the report.
