'Doctor Strange' news: Marketing is on full speed with new motion posters; Dr. Strange confirmed for 'Thor: Ragnarok?'

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the Sorcerer Supreme in Marvel's "Doctor Strange." | Marvel

Scott Derrickson's "Doctor Strange" is one of the most anticipated movies for November, and the marketing department is already in full blast. New motion posters have been released for the movie and they feature Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen), Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).

The posters were released by the Twitter account of Marvel Studios, and they all just feature a still of the characters standing up and the images getting "magically" distorted. Each poster is also tagged with a quote from each character from the trailers.

In other news, Stephen Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch, has somewhat confirmed that he will be part of Taika Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok." A picture of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) holding a card with the address of Doctor Strange was leaked, and a lot of fans have speculated that Cumberbatch is making an appearance in the movie.

In a piece by Interview Magazine, Cumberbatch talked to Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and shared his experience on working with Marvel. He says, "I can't wait to see how it expands the universe. I'm also part of your crew! It's an amazing cast of actors."

Some fans are unsure of the comment because it could mean either one of two things. Cumberbatch could be complimenting the crew of "Thor: Ragnarok," or he could be commenting on working with Marvel Studios in general.

He also goes on to say, "It's the most fun hard work you'll ever do, I think, as an actor. They really know how to treat you right. And the material is challenging, witty, and a lot of fun to do. Doctor Strange is a complex, funny, but exciting character."

A lot of magic-themed movies will be coming out in November. Aside from "Doctor Strange," J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will also hit cinemas.

"Doctor Strange" will come out Nov 4.
