Does Hanna's absence on the 'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 poster reveal her fate?
Those who have made Freeform's show "Pretty Little Liars" a part of their lives are thinking of all the possibilities for why Ashley Benson does not appear on the season 7 poster which recently came out. It has started all sorts of speculation on whether this reflects the fate that awaits her character in this new season of "Pretty Little Liars."
As all avid viewers of this mystery-thriller series must know, Benson's Hanna was kidnapped back during the finale of season 6, which had her friends rushing to save her from Uber A. Yet, Marlene King, the showrunner for PLL, took the news in stride when the cliffhanger was being planned, telling E! News, "They're not big on happy endings, those Liars!"
This last comment of King's referred to Benson's apparent joy when she got the script for the last season's finale.
She even quipped about the fact that, even when the characters die, they still essentially stay on the show, citing Andrea Parker and Alison DiLaurentis. It would come as a big shock to PLL's fans though if Benson gets killed off.
King, however, went on to add, "It's always been our goal, no one is safe from 'A' and no one is safe from being 'A.'"
But no matter what King will say, fans were both thrilled and terrified with the trailer for season 7 which came out last month, and now they are confronted with a key art where a favorite character is missing, and a tagline on it that goes "How far will they go to #SaveHanna?" It is enough to freak every PLL-loving diehard.
In a show like "Pretty Little Liars," anything can happen. The rest of the gang know what they have to do to save their friend from the clutches of Uber A: surrender over to the ruthless villain or villainess the evidence they have on Charlotte's murderer. Yet, they also know that once they do, there would be no other way for them but onward.
It is all getting too hot for comfort as the season premiere for "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 nears its release date on Freeform on June 21 at 8 p.m.
