'Dragon Age Inquisition Jaws of Hakkon' DLC Release Date for PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 Announced to Fans
Many fans of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" were disappointed when the first DLC add-on for the game titled "Jaws of Hakkon" was announced last month as exclusive only for the Xbox One and PC. They immediately wanted to know when it would arrive for the PS4.
Explaining the reason for the timed exclusive, BioWare, the game's maker, said Microsoft was extremely helpful in the process of creating the add-on; hence the company allowed the game's release exclusively on the Xbox One.
At that time BioWare was under contract with Microsoft and therefore could not announce when "Jaws of Hakkon" would eventually arrive to other consoles.
All that ended on March 30 when the DLC's release for PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 was announced. In a post on the Twitter account for the game, Bioware said the DLC "Jaws of Hakkon" is due to launch for a wider range of consoles this May.
Currently, "Jaws of Hakkon" is priced at $14.99 and is only available for the Xbox One and PC. It allows players to journey into the mountains in the area of Thedas where they will have to locate the person who led the Inquisition in the past. BioWare said players will get to find out what happened to the last Inquisitor who lived 800 years ago and also learn more about the dragon that he was hunting at the time.
As for the area of Thedas, it is described as an "overgrown wilderness" inhabited by a tribe of hunters called the Avvar.
Players also get to explore a Tevinter fortress that hides a "dangerous secret." In addition, they will go up against a number of powerful enemies including a "god of war who is bent on destroying the world."
