'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 55, 56 update, rumors, spoilers: Omni King teams up with Son Goku? Black Goku to introduce new Super Saiyan form?

The upcoming episode of "Dragon Ball Super" is expected to unravel the real identity of Black Goku, the reigning villain of Akira Toriyama's latest anime series. Not much has been known about the character, but it seems many important characters are starting to worry about his threat to the galaxy.

In Episode 55, a mysterious call was received by the Universe 6 God of Destruction Beerus and his servant Whis, and this made the two powerful beings very shocked. The person who made the call is none other than the Supreme King of all 12 universes, the Omni King Zeno, and he expressed his desire to meet Son Goku face to face. The Omni King first met Goku during the Universe 6 versus Universe 7 tournament in the previous "Dragon Ball Super" story arc, but this time, it looks like something urgent came up that the Omni King wanted to meet Goku all of a sudden.

According to the updates "Dragon Ball Super" episode listing by Kotaku, the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 56 is titled "Black Goku Rematch! Super Saiyan Rose Appears!" The title itself suggests that the next chapter will see more of Goku's villainous clone, but it will also show a new Super Saiyan form.

Yibada reported that a latest concept art for "Dragon Ball Super" reveals Black Goku sporting a Super Saiyan appearance, although his hair is not golden yellow like the Super Saiyan 2 form. The color of Black Goku's hair is not blue either to make him a Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan Blue. Instead, he is shown to have a pink or rose-colored hair, which is a first Super Saiyan form to be introduced in the "Dragon Ball" series.

It is yet to be seen if Black Goku's Super Saiyan Rose form is superior or at par with Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue. Beerus is still superior in terms of power when Goku spars with him in Super Saiyan God form, but the power levels of the two are not that distant.
