'Dragon Ball Super' episode 61 air date, spoilers, news & update: Other Goku's identity to be revealed?
Goku Black's identity is no longer a secret moving into "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61, but there are still questions left unanswered.
The villain has revealed to Goku and company that his body is that of a real Goku, but one that is overtaken by the mind and heart of Zamasu. This was made possible through the Super Dragon Balls.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 titled "Zamasu's Ambition: The Human Elimination Plan is Divulged" will focus on Zamasu and Goku Black enacting their grand scheme, which is to decimate all mortals. However, fans hope that there will be more to that.
Goku Black's revelation in the previous episode had fans wondering who that "other" Goku is and where he comes from. Tons of theories have emerged trying to make sense of this.
Some say this fallen Goku is a twin of the Goku of the present timeline. Some say it is just a version of the hero from another timeline, presumably from that of Future Trunks.
Another mystery born out of this revelation that is hoped to be clarified in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 is the timeline where the Zamasu that is living inside Goku Black comes from.
Clearly, he is from a different dimension seeing that the immortal Zamasu is present at the same time Goku Black is present. In fact, they will even join forces in the next episode. The question is from which timeline this Zamasu was plucked.
More information about this is expected to be revealed in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61. Tons of action is also expected to be featured here at least based on the synopsis of the installment.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 will once again give fans another good look at the Super Saiyan Rose, which means that Goku's party is in serious trouble. The synopsis reads:
"Black Goku sees Goku and the others as the greatest obstacle in completing 'The 0 Humans Plan.' He turns into Super Saiyan Rose to eliminate them once and for all."
