'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 61 air date, spoilerste: Black Goku's true identity revealed?
"Dragon Ball Super" has found a new antagonist in the form of Black Goku. Though his true identity has remained a mystery for a while, the upcoming episode is said to reveal who he really is — he is Zamasu who has taken control of Goku's body.
Reports say that this is possible because of the use of the Dragon Balls. Zamasu was able to wish that he'd exchange bodies with Goku, hence giving birth to Black Goku. Time travel plays a key element to this story, so it's likely that the Goku that Zamasu exchanged bodies with was the Goku from the future.
Beerus, the God of Destruction, is also said to destroy Zamasu in the next episode, but Future Trunks, just to be safe, decides to return to the future to find out if he was able to save it from destruction.
On a less serious note, the next episode also reveals that Goku has never kissed anyone before. The surprising revelation comes when Trunks kisses his girlfriend Mai in front of the group — much to Goku's confusion. Even Vegeta seems to be confused with Goku's confession as Goku already has two kids with his wife, ChiChi.
The joke seems to be reminiscent of classic "Dragon Ball" humor, as when Bulma first met Goku, Goku had no idea what a girl was, and was curious as to what "body parts" Bulma didn't have. Goku's failure to connect kissing with marriage is typical of Japan's favorite Super Saiyan.
Some fans speculate that the next episode features the appearance of another Super Saiyan transformation making its debut in the form of Super Saiyan Green. Black Goku has been able to achieve Super Saiyan Rose, and Green could have enough power to put Black Goku down for good.
The next episode of "Dragon Ball Super" airs on Sunday, Oct. 9.
