Dragon Ball Super episode 62: Goku will learn a new technique

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 62 will not be the end of the tenacious struggle between Goku and company against Zamasu's plan to eliminate all humans. However, the episode will tell more about the key to Goku defeating Zamasu and Black.

Shounen Jump has leaked yet another spoiler translated and posted on user Todd Blankership's Twitter account. It said Goku is learning a new technique to defeat both Zamasu and Black.

The post also revealed that Trunks will be having a fierce battle against Zamasu and Black while he sends Goku back to the past to visit the Turtle Hermit to learn Mafuba — the only technique that will defeat Zamasu and Black. Episode 62 is titled "Trunk's super power of rage explodes" which will simply showsthe powerful Super Saiyan side of Trunks.

In episode 61, Trunks reached the Super Saiyan Blue form which can be controlled by using the god ki. Trunks will eventually be able to use his newly found form to buy time for Goku to return with the new power, Mafuba.

According to Otaku Vines, the Mafuba or Evil Containment Wave is a sealing technique used by Master Roshi to seal King Piccolo (Piccolo's Father). To note, the story of the Mafuba began during the time when King Piccolo terrorized the whole world. Goku was still a kid that time when Master Roshi used the Mafuba against King Piccolo.

Fans are amazed by the new story development which does not focus on Goku defeating Black and Zamasu or Trunks levelling up to Vegeta and Goku's rank. However, people are more intrigued about bringing back a forgotten technique that was aired years ago in the new Dragon Ball Super episodes. Even die-hard fans were not expecting to hear about the Mafuba.

Dragon Ball Super episode 62 is expected to air on Sunday, Oct. 16. Hence, the real story is yet to be seen next week.
