'Dragon Ball Super' episode 65 spoilers news 2016: Does merged Zamasu's appearance spell the end of humankind?

Now that Black Goku and Zamasu have merged into one ultimate immortal warrior, is there still hope of their defeat? And was all that talk about anger reinforcing strength a foreshadowing of an eventual loss on the mortals' side?

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 65 promises more intense battle sequences now that the enemies have become one and the Mafuba jar has turned into nothing but an ordinary trinket, owing to Goku forgetting the sealing paper at Master Roshi's place. Goku and Vegeta will have to rethink their strategy and rely on their own innate strengths to bring the merged Zamasu down.

Titled "Is this the Final Judgment?! The Ultimate Power of the Absolute God!," next week's episode of the popular anime series will feature the heights of Black Goku and Zamasu's combined forces as they fight to annihilate the Saiyans who are the only ones keeping them from bringing their Zero Humans project to full force.

The people of the future will be watching as the fight for salvation unfolds, with seemingly no hope of a positive outcome. The only thing that's left for the Saiyans to do is to somehow harness more strength to withstand, if not completely match, the devastating powers of merged Zamasu.

But where are they going to get the additional strength? Will somebody close to them have to die in order to bring them to the very peak of their potentials? Will Piccolo from the present timeline pull through for them and find a way to somehow deliver the sealing paper to the future so Goku can finally use the Mafuba to seal the merged Zamasu away once and for all?

A teaser from the "Weekly Shounen Jump" reveals more details about the new and enhanced Zamasu, saying that he now has a power known as Wall of Light which is capable of erasing everything he touches from existence. Could the next episode be the end of the Saiyans' fight against Zamasu, and thus the culmination of their Zero Humans plan?

Yibada speculates that Goku and Vegeta may merge as well in the next episode so as to better fight their combined adversaries. It will be interesting to see how their merged form can match up to the immortal Zamasu.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 65 airs on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
