'Dragon Ball Super' episode 66 spoilers news update: Vegito to be the one to stop Merged Zamasu?
After the speculations and the rumors, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 66 will finally bring fans what they have been longing for—Vegito.
The upcoming episode, which is titled "Showdown! The Unyielding Warriors' Miraculous Power," will mark the return of the said fusion.
Vegito appears in the promo for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 66, where he goes Super Saiyan Blue and attacks Merged Zamasu with all the power he can summon.
Vegito is the merged version of Goku and Vegeta using the Potara earrings. Fans speculated that Goku Black and Zamasu's fusion—Merged Zamasu—could only be outmatched or at least contained by someone like the fusion of the two Saiyans.
Many expected this will be the direction the anime is headed and this glorious moment will finally arrive come "Dragon Ball Super" episode 66.
Vegito should be far stronger than any of his previous iterations, thanks to the Super Saiyan Blue transformation as well as the increased power of both Goku and Vegeta as individual fighters.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 66 will definitely be packed with action and story as the show moves forward with the Future Trunks arc.
Zamasu and Goku Black have proved themselves difficult to trounce. Just when the heroes think they cannot get any stronger, they pull a last-ditch surprise.
But Zamasu is not the only one who can perform such trick. The same can be said when it comes to Goku and Vegeta, whose Vegito fusion is expected to finally do the job in locking away the immortal evil.
The synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 66 as per the anime's reliable tipster Herms98 reads: "After his ring of light is broken by Goku's life-risking attack, something strange happens to Merged Zamasu."
It would appear that the Kaioken technique will be of use once again here, but this time by Vegito. With an incredible force behind it, Merged Zamasu will definitely be left shaken.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 66 will air Sunday, Nov. 13 at 9:30 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
