'Dragon Ball Super' episode 67 air date, spoilers & update: Zamasu isn't over yet
Many people thought that the "mafuba" will be the end of Black Goku and Zamasu, but it sparked a more furious battle between both sides. The latest developments brought forth the godly fusion of Zamasu and Black against the fusion of Goku and Vegeta, which led to the birth of Super Saiyan Blue Vegeto.
Dragon Ball Super Episode 66 seemingly closed the curtain for Zamasu's "zero mortal plan," as it ended with Trunks cutting Zamasu in half with his sword which bore the power of all humans in his planet. To add, episode 66 showed Trunks successfully killing Zamasu.
But episode 67 titled "Fill Your Heart With New Hope! Farewell Trunks" sparked intriguing theories. Sources say that Episode 67 might not just confirm the end of Zamasu, but a very sad ending for Trunks as well. However, some fans believe that episode 67 will feature a happy ending which involves simple goodbyes among the combatants as they prepare to leave for their own timelines after successfully beating Zamasu.
Another report says that the ending won't be as simple as other people believe. The story goes that Zamasu was supposed to be defeated, but in some way he loses his physical body instead. The situation has become more complicated for Goku's company, but suddenly Goku finds something hidden in his pocket which leads to the real end of Zamasu. It could be a copy of the paper-sign which was supposed to be attached on the Mafuba Jar to perform the containment wave successfully. If this is true, then Goku's newfound treasure must be truly special since it will bring a god to his demise.
What is clear is that Zamasu will die, however, how he will die is another question which intrigues more fans as the plot of the story slowly unravels. Dragon Ball Super Episode 67 is expected to air on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 9 a.m. JST on TV Tokyo.
