'Dragon Ball Super' episodes 70, 71 spoilers, predictions: filler episodes to air before a new arc arrives?
Son Goku's life might be in danger in episodes 70 and 71 of "Dragon Ball Super."
Based on the titles of the upcoming episodes, Goku will continuously try to ward off all the assassination plots against him after he became Dr. Slump's security guard in episode 69.
Episode 70, titled "The Champa Challenge. We will play in baseball!" is expected to be released on Sunday, Dec. 11, as a filler episode and will feature Champa's challenge to Goku and his friends to play against him in a baseball game.
Champa is known as Beerus' plump twin brother. This could mean that seeing him play against the lean, more muscular opponents like Son Goku in a baseball game might bring a lot of funny scenes in the episode. This could probably be one of the remaining lighter episodes of the series before the heavier, more serious arc will be released.
On the other hand, episode 71 could feature the fall of Son Goku, since it will be called "Goku dies! The order of the murderer to be executed." According to speculations, the episode might see the appearance of the legendary assassin named Hit from Universe 6.
Hit is known as a gigantic and highly muscular humanoid who is recognized as one of the best fighters in the entire Universe 6. Based on speculations, someone will hire him to kill Goku. But there are no details yet about the identity of the individual who is plotting to end Goku's life.
Episode 71 is also speculated to be another filler episode before a new arc will be revealed. The arc is reportedly focused on Trunks, then it will later on shift to Gohan's adventures. The episode is expected to be released on Sunday, Dec. 18.
More details about the upcoming episodes of "Dragon Ball Super" and the rumored new arc are expected to come out soon.
