'Dragon Ball Super' episode 73 spoilers: Gohan becomes a stuntman in Great Saiyaman's movie
Since the hit anime series "Dragon Ball Super" has been releasing filler episodes to act as a bridge between the concluded "Future Trunks" arc and its upcoming "Universal Survival" saga, it looks like the anime will be reintroducing some very familiar and well-loved characters to its fans, old and new.
According to ComicBook, the upcoming episode 73 of "Dragon Ball Super" will be focusing on a hilarious storyline involving legendary characters like Gohan and Mr. Satan.
As seen from the official promo video of the upcoming episode in the anime series, Gohan will be taking a break from his books and will be donning his Great Saiyaman outfit once again. He will end up working as a stunt double in a film about the superhero Saiyaman.
"Hello, it's Gohan. Something terrible has happened. They're making a Great Saiyaman movie! And I'm going to be a stunt man for Great Saiyaman. This is a pickle. But... the spread of evil cannot be forgiven!" Gohan's voice was heard speaking in the promo video.
According to the episode's synopsis, an actor named Barry Kahn, who plays the lead role of Saiyaman in the movie, will refuse to shoot a dangerous action stunt with Mr. Satan. Hence, Gohan will find himself volunteering his services to fight against the legendary martial artist.
It can be recalled that episode 72 of "Dragon Ball Super" featured an intense battle between the powerful Saiyan Goku and the legendary assassin Hit. The two previously battled it out with Goku winning the fight. However, at the time, Hit had to hold back because of the Universe 6 tournament's no-killing rule. Hence to prepare for the upcoming survival tournament, the Saiyan ordered an assassination attempt on himself to fight Hit, no holds barred.
The 73rd episode of "Dragon Ball Super" anime series, titled "Gohan's Disaster! Great Saiyaman's Unbelievable Movie Adaptation," will air on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, on Fuji TV.
