An awards ceremony goes sideways when perky girl android Arale crosses paths with Goku and company. Can a battle of strength between an android and a Saiyan possibly bring about the end of the world?

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 69 titled "Goku vs Arale! The Earth Comes To An End Due To Their Battle?" ushers in Arale, a character from Akira Toriyama's pre-Dragon Ball gag manga series, "Dr. Slump." Arale was briefly featured in an earlier episode of "Dragon Ball Super" earlier this year, but now she's back to play a more significant role in the upcoming episode, which takes Goku and his friends to the World Invention Award.

Being one of the greatest scientists in the world, Bulma gets invited to the event and is accompanied by her husband Vegeta. Hercule is tasked to present the award, Goku lands a part-time job working as a security guard for the event, and evil scientist Dr. Mashirito, who is invited to the event, brings on the chaos with unexpected back-ups: Arale and Gatchan.

What could Dr. Mashirito be up to, and why are Arale and Gatchan with him? Does this mean that a battle between two of Toriyama's strongest creations is imminent? According to an article on Forbes, the upcoming match between Goku and Arale is made more interesting by the fact that Toriyama himself has on some occasions cited Arale as one of his most powerful creations. He also said that Arale could be strong enough to beat Goku.

The article also mentioned that Japanese voice actress Mami Koyama, who did Arale's voice in the "Dr. Slump" anime adaptation all those years ago, would be on board to reprise her role as the energetic android girl with a penchant for battling it out with "real strong guys."

Another epic battle is about to ensue when "Dragon Ball Super" episode 69 airs on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
